I didn’t realise when I bought this that it is boxed as sold in China. The Chinese plug and instructions with no translation is one thing. Then I discovered by researching the internet that it needs to connect to the WalkingPad app- if you don’t the speed is limited to 3 km/hr. I wondered why it didn’t go to the advertised limit. I downloaded the app but it wouldn’t send the authorization email. The Dubai outlet didn’t answer my emails so I found the contact in China for the app who authorized the app. It meant that it now goes full speed. However the app itself won’t set up as I then discovered this is not a Bluetooth model. It is the WiFi version sold in China and as such doesn’t work here. I’m not too bothered as I can get the stats elsewhere and I love the WalkingPad itself. Cheaper than elsewhere yes- but it is not clear in the description that you’ll face these problems.
